Routines in our Classrooms
Our lessons are structured around the TEEP cycle to ensure students are provided with a consistent learning experience.
Our School Curriculum
We define the curriculum as ‘the lived daily experience of students’, valuing academic learning opportunities.
Beyond the Classroom
We provide a range of opportunities for students to be successful beyond the normal school day.
We pride ourselves on providing clear information and consistent support during our student’s exam series.
We ensure a happy and safe learning environment, where positive behaviour is rewarded and negative behaviour is sanctioned.
In preparation for employment, it is vital students look smart, are well presented and are ready to learn.
School attendance is directly linked to student outcomes. Students must aim for high levels of attendance at all times.
Well-being & Safeguarding
At Baxter College, we promote a culture of keeping our students safe; supported by our student support centre.
Free School Meals
Students that are eligible for free school meals receive additional support through the pupil premium grant.
The special educational needs and disabilities of students at Baxter College are met through enhanced provision and support.
Our Sixth Form is a learning community, building knowledge, character and resilience for successful futures.
We are working in collaboration with Stourport High School Sixth Form to give a broader curriculum and to share expertise.
The curriculum beyond qualifications promotes positive destinations and journeys for aspirational lives.
