Additional Data to Support Remote Learning
The Department for Education has worked with mobile phone companies to provide additional data for families who do not have a broad band connection and are struggling to pay for additional data. The Current Providers signed up to the scheme are EE, O2, Sky Mobile, SMARTY, Tesco Mobile, Three, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone.
We can now process requests for extra data for mobile devices for parents/carers and pupils. Please complete this form by clicking here for parents/carers to register an interest.
Responses will be checked and uploaded to the Get Help with Technology portal each day.
To process the request, we will require the following information, which will be passed on to the Get Help with Technology portal:
- the account holder’s name
- their mobile number (a number beginning with ‘07’)
- their mobile network
- whether they pay monthly or pay as they go
